Filipino has been used to prepare Buko Salad in every special occasions.

Buko (Coconut) is widely available all over the country and it is used as refreshment or sometimes used as ingredients in various desserts such as Buko Salad. it is called “Buko Salad” because the main ingredient is the Buko flesh itself. Added with fresh fruits or canned fruits, whipped cream and sweetened milk, chilled and viola! Buko Salad is made. Simple yet very delightful dessert.

And since Holidays or Christmas is coming, this kind of dessert would be perfect. It brings homey feeling every bite since it is homemade and truly it is one of Filipinos favorite treat.
